County Championship

The draws for the county championship were carried out last week. In the Dan Breen, Kiladangan will take on Loughmore Castleiney, JK Brackens and Moycarkey Borris whilst in the Seamus O'Riain, Kiladangan will take on Thurles Sarsfields, Carrick Swan and Burgess.

County League

Well done to the Senior Hurlers who put in a great performance last Sunday morning in The Ragg to defeat Drom Inch, 3-15 to 0-16, in their second group game of the County League. Shane Gleeson, Stephen James Gleeson and Matthew Cleary were the Kiladangan goal scorers. Team, scorers and score tracker is available on the club’s website at KiladanganGAA.com. They will be away to Upperchurch Drombane in the final group game on Sunday 11th July at 12 noon.

North Junior ‘B’ League

Well done to the Junior ‘B’s who put in an impressive performance last Friday in their second round league game, defeating Borrisokane 4-19 to 1-19. Eoin Meagher (2), Paddy Coen and DJ McGrath were the Kiladangan goal scorers. Team, scorers and score tracker is available on the club’s website at KiladanganGAA.com. They will also take on Knockshegowna this coming Friday 2nd July in Ballingarry at 8pm in their final game of the group stages.

Under 19

The Under 19 hurlers defeated Toomevara on a 3-21 to 2-7 scoreline on Wednesday 30th June with full team, scorers and score tracker available on the club website. They will take on Ballina in their next game on Wednesday 7th July. Please see Kiladangan social media for full fixture details.

Under 15

Well done to the Under 15 footballers who defeated Lorrha last Thursday evening after a titanic tussle after extra time in the North 'B' Semi Final. Final Score - Kiladangan 6-14 Lorrha 7-9. They will take on Moneygall this Thursday 1st July in the final at 7.30 pm in Moneygall.

Under 13

The 13 ‘B’ team were due to take Burgess in the North Plate Final on Wednesday 30th June but it was postponed. Please keep an eye on the club's social media for an updated fitxture. The U13 ‘D’ team took on Nenagh Eire Og in the North Semi Final and were unfortunate to lose out on a 2-4 t0 1-10 scoreline.

Kiladangan GAA Scrap Metal Collection

Many thanks to everyone who have contributed to the scrap metal collection over the last three Saturday mornings. This coming Saturday will be the final morning of the collection. We will be in Ballycommon from 9am to 1pm to accept donations and can facilitate collection of large items. Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 21st June. There was no winner of the €15,900 jackpot (9,15,28,36) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (7,8,917). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for whilst tickets are also available in the shops and restaurants in the parish.

Kiladangan GAA Golf Classic

Keep Friday 30th July free in your diary as Nenagh Golf Club will host the annual Kiladangan GAA Golf classic. It is a 3 ball champagne scramble event and we have some fantastic prizes on offer such as 3 balls for Lahinch, Trump Doonbeg and Carton House. Entry is €180 which includes a meal in the club house after (or €150 per team for golf only).

Best of luck to Tipperary and to the Kiladangan contingent as they take on Clare this coming Sunday 4th July at 3.45pm in the Munster Semi Final.

Wedding Bells

It was a busy weekend of weddings last weekend with two of the club’s hurlers getting married. Congratulations to Joe Gallagher and Jane Hannigan who got married on Saturday and to Martin Slattery and Sinead Ryan who got married on Friday.
